Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with exception to attendance in the Splashercise program.
  • Must be independent in dressing or bring an attendant to assist.
  • Must be able to stand alone in the pool or provide an attendant to assist in the water.
  • Must have the ability to follow instructor's directions.
  • Must be able to tolerate exercise in 90-92 degree water.
  • Prescription not required in most cases.

The program is closed on major holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year's Day

Offered exclusively to persons with special needs (i.e. physical, emotional, cognitive, learning or any debilitating disability).  Private and semi-private lessons are offered and designed to meet the individual needs of the participant.  Lessons vary in length depending on what program you chose.  We reserve the right to require a medical note and /or school IEP for diagnosis purposes.

Per package payment will ensure your preferred lesson days and times. Lessons must be completed within 90 days of purchase.  Per lesson payments must be made at the time of scheduling.

There are no make-ups for missed semi-private lessons.  Lessons must be completed within 45 days of purchase.

Family-Swim is designed for parents and their children to enjoy exercising and swimming together. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults should be no further than one arm’s length away from children or other non-swimming family members.

Cost: $25 registration per person; $60/month or $10 per session; (no vouchers available)

A water exercise, pain management and relaxation class developed exclusively for individuals diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Enrollment in this class includes the use of the Independent Exercise times, in addition to the scheduled Tuesday/Thursday structured class times.

Cost: $25 registration per person; $55/month or $10 per session; $40/book of 5 vouchers

A water exercise program designed for individuals who wish to exercise independently. This program is for individuals who may have various conditions, which might hinder their range of motion, have specified exercises assigned from a physician as well as for those interested in general aquatic exercises.

Cost: $25 registration per person; $55/month or $10 per session; $40/book of 5 vouchers

This American Red Cross program will introduce participants to lifesaving skills, first aid and CPR. This camp is a great pre-course for those interested in becoming a lifeguard. Participants who meet the requirements may earn an American Red Cross Adult CPR and Standard First0Aid certification at the conclusion of the program. Participants must be able to swim free-style 25 yards, tread water for 1 minute and swim 10 feet underwater.

Pre-requisite:Swim free style 25 yards, tread water for 1 minute and swim 10 feet underwater.

A group water exercise program geared for individuals recovering from a stroke, head injuries or other brain injuries resulting in hemiparesis or hemiplegia.

Cost: $25 registration per person; $55/month or $10 per session; $40/book of 5 vouchers

A water exercise program designed with children in mind. A once a week, 45-minute high energy and fun session focusing on the 5 physical fitness components. exclusively for youths under the age of 12. Participants must be at least 4 years of age to participate and must meet all aquatic program eligibility requirements.

Cost: $25 registration per person; $10 per session; $40/book of 5 vouchers

This class will be canceled for the month of September & October 2011

This water exercise program offers full-body cardio for participants of all fitness levels and is designed to help sustain and improve joint mobility, tone muscles and improve endurance levels in a fun, supportive class environment. This is a 60 minutes instructor led class, medium/high intensity level.

Cost: $25 registration per person; $55/month or $10 per session; $40/book of 5 vouchers

A general conditioning pool exercise program designed for individuals, who have various conditions, which might hinder their range of motion, as well as for those interested in general aerobic exercise.  Each session is taught by experienced instructors, and are one hour in length; consisting of 15 minutes of free exercise time at the start of the hour, 30 minutes of instruction, and 15 minutes of free cool down time at the end. This class is low/medium intensity level.

Cost: $25 registration per person; $55/month or $10 per session; $40/book of 5 vouchers
