Program
Volunteers
Purpose:
To provide additional ongoing assistance in the day programs.
Provides an opportunity to become more familiar with some of the
disabilities of young children and adults.
Basic Qualifications:
Proof of a recent TB test, and good health and ability to perform the
duties requested.
Complete a scheduled tour of the facility, an orientation to the
policies of RIO and a Volunteer Service Application.
Have a willingness and interest in working in working with disabled
persons.
Able to follow directions and work independently when appropriate.

Adult Day Health Care
(ADHC): Brain injured
adults, ages 18-59
Adult
Day Care (ADC): Disabled
seniors, 60+
Child
Development Program (CDP):
Developmentally delayed children, ages 1-3
Early
Learning Center Preschool:
Children, ages 2-6
Independent
Living Skills (ILS):
Disabled adults & seniors learning or re-learning skills necessary
to live independently
Transitional
Adult Program (TAP):
Developmentally disabled adults working to improve their quality of life

Special
Event Volunteers
Purpose:
To raise money to support the programs
assisting children and adults with disabilities
Basic Qualifications:
Willing to give time to work and
support RIO at fundraising events

RIO's Annual Golf Tournament. Some
positions start now and have flexible hours.
